Why BraSil?

I'm stubborn for certain things. 

I think the name of the country should always be the same. It's a name after all! (Germany has so many different names that you may not know where the person is referring to!).

Ok, sometimes it's to make it easier for people to say it, but in our case there's not much of an excuse!

So, if you are coming here to watch the World Cup, get used to it! :)

But, do you know the meaning of it?

The colors, although not officially, have a extremely popular meaning: green represents the forests; yellow, the minerals; and blue, the sky.

The stars represent each state and the saying means "Order and Progress", always written in green. It is inspired by Auguste Comte's moto of positivism: "L’amour pour principe et l’ordre pour base; le progrès pour but" - "Love as a principle and order as the basis; progress as the goal".

And where is the love? Well, that you're gonna have to come and feel! ;)
